Shipping Policy

This policy explains how The Frozen Cart Store ships orders, what shipping costs, how long delivery takes and what to do when your order arrives.

Where we ship

We ship to the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states). Carts travel by freight truck, which needs a street address, so we can't deliver carts to P.O. boxes. For delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories or another country, contact us for a quote before you order.

Processing time

  • In-stock items: we prepare and hand your order to the carrier within 3 to 5 business days after your payment is confirmed.
  • Custom and made-to-order carts: built after you approve your order and quote. Production usually takes 3 to 6 weeks. We confirm your estimated ship date in writing.
  • Orders placed on weekends or U.S. holidays start processing on the next business day.

How orders ship

  • Carts ship by LTL freight, strapped to a pallet and protected for the trip.
  • Smaller parts and accessories ship by parcel carriers such as UPS, FedEx or USPS.

Delivery time

After your order ships, freight delivery usually takes 3 to 10 business days, depending on the distance. Parcel orders usually arrive in 2 to 7 business days. The freight carrier calls or emails you to schedule a delivery appointment. Delivery times are estimates from the carrier and aren't guaranteed.

Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout from the items in your cart and your delivery address, and you see the total before you pay. Freight to a home, or to a business without a loading dock, may need liftgate service, which the rate includes when you choose it at checkout. For several carts or special delivery needs, request a combined freight quote.

Tracking your order

When your order ships, we email you the carrier's name and your tracking or PRO number. Track your shipment on the carrier's own website, or ask us for an update any time.

When your cart arrives

  • Freight is delivered to the curb or the end of your driveway. The driver doesn't carry items inside or assemble them.
  • Someone 18 or older must be there to sign for the delivery.
  • Inspect the pallet and cart before you sign. If anything is damaged or missing, write it on the delivery receipt (the bill of lading), take photos, and contact us within 48 hours. If the receipt is signed without noting damage, the carrier can refuse the claim.
  • Don't refuse the delivery unless we ask you to. We'll handle the freight claim and repair or replace what was damaged.

Delayed or lost shipments

If your tracking hasn't updated for 5 business days, or your order is later than its estimated delivery date, contact us. We'll work with the carrier to find it and, if it's lost, send a replacement or a full refund.

Taxes

Sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires it.
